Question leakage: Tk 5 lakh bounty announced

Secretariat Correspondent: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has announced a bounty of Tk 5 lakh on each to help arrest the perpetrators who leaked the questions of SSC and equivalent exams through Facebook or other social networking sites and means.
The minister on Sunday afternoon came up with the announcement while briefing reporters after emerging from an urgent meeting with National Monitoring and Law and Order Committee over the ongoing SSC and equivalent examinations.
"Tk 500,000 will be awarded to anyone who can accurately identify the perpetrators and turn them over to law enforcers," Nahid said.
The minister said a committee of 11 members has been formed to probe the allegations that the two SSC Bangla paper questions leaked.
State Minister for Education Kazi Keramat Ali, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division Md Sohrab Hossain, Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Division Md Alamgir, officials of different agencies concerned, among others, were present at the meeting.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under country's 10 education boards began on February 1.
