Quota movement propaganda: Probe report on Aug 8

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has deferred the date to submit report on the case over provocative propaganda in quota-reform movement.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ahsan Habib on Wednesday fixed August 8 as new date as the investigation officer failed to submit the report.

Earlier on April 8, Cyber Security and Crime division of police’s Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit monitored the provocative propaganda on various social network platforms including Facebook profiles, page and groups, YouTube, Twitter, Online news portals, blogs and different websites.

On April 11, after monitoring, Police Inspector SM Shahjalal of Counter Terrorism unit filed a case with Ramna police station over the issue.
