Quota reform demonstrations underway

Staff Correspondent: The demonstration enforced by quota protestors is underway in colleges and universities across the country demanding immediate issuance of gazette notification abolishing quota system.

The protesters continued their demonstration suspending classes and examinations on Sunday.

Hasan Al Mamun, Convener of Sadharan Chhatra Odhikar Songrokkhon Parishad (General Students Rights Protection Council) said that the strike is underway in every colleges and universities in the country. 



On the other hand, the protesters brought out a procession from Dhaka University Central Library around 11:30am on Sunday.

Earlier on Saturday, the convener Hasan Al Mamun announced the fresh demonstration programme from a press conference held on the Dhaka University campus.
