RAB detains 61 fraudsters for making fake NID

Staff Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel detained 61 members of a fraud gang for their alleged involvement in making fake National Identity (NID) cards for selling mobile SIM cards.

The detainees were held during a drive conducted by RAB-4 in capital’s Pallabi area during Wednesday night and early on Thursday morning.

RAB Legal and Media Wing Assistant Director Senior ASP Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan said the law enforcers seized huge number of fake formats of National Identity Cards, SIM, laptops, computers and printers from the spot.
