RAB detains DB SI with huge yaba in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, detained a Sub-Inspector (SI) of detective branch police with 30,000 pieces of yaba on Saturday morning.
The detainee, Abul Bashar, was posted at Brahmanbaria district unit of DB Police.
RAB-7 Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Md Nuruzzaman confirmed the matter.
A RAB team led by Feni Camp Commander Squadron Leader Shafayat Jamil Fahim carried out the drive in Baroyar Hat area under Mirsarai upazila and detained Abul Bashar with yaba, he said.
SI Abul Bashar was on way to Dhaka, carrying the yaba, on a motorcycle, said Squadron Leader Shafayat Jamil Fahim.
