Staff Correspondent, Savar: Most of the workers returned to their work station in Ashulia industrial area.
The workers were seen joining the factories on Monday morning. No untoward situation has so far been reported till filling the report at 11:00am. However, some workers left their factories today.
Earlier, Savar-Ashulia industrial area became peaceless following the alleged salary-allowance discrimination. Several thousand workers continued demonstration on the Dhaka-Tangail highway. Later, to control the situation, the government revised the pay structure for the garments industry workers giving a raise.
Industrial police-1 director Sana Samiur Rahman said the overall picture of industrial area has changed as the salary increased. Garments workers returned to work. The production procedure is going on normally except two or one factories.
