RMG workers block Ashulia road

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Readymade garment workers blocked Dhaka-Tangail highway at Ashulia point, on the outskirts of Dhaka, from Saturday morning protesting disparity in their new wage structure.

Thousand workers of several garment factories took to the streets in Jamgora area around 9:00am for the sixth day, halting traffic movement in the highway.

Police used water cannon and charge batons to disperse the garment workers.
