RU online application process begins

RU Correspondent: Online application process for admission into honours courses at Rajshahi University under the academic session 2018-2019 began on Monday.

Rajshahi University information and communication centre director Khademul Islam Molla inaugurated the application process at the centre at noon.

The online application process will continue till 12:00am on September 12 while the admission tests will be held in October 22-23.

Admission seekers can register themselves on the university admission website, www.admission.ru.ac.bd, using their Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate examination roll numbers for a fee of Tk 55.

Students who bagged a combined SSC and HSC grade point average score of 7.0 (with additional subject) in 2017 and 2018 will be eligible to apply for admission under the humanities group while those with a combined GPA of 7.50 (with additional subject) will be eligible to register under the business faculty.

Students who secured a combined GPA of 8.0 (with additional subject) will be eligible to register for admission under the science group.

This year, university authorities would allow only 32,000 students to sit for the admission tests under each of the five units based on their combined GPA scores.
