Rab drive at suspected militant den in Mirsarai

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) is now conducting a drive at a suspected militant den at Zorarganj Thana under Mirsarai upazila.

Tipped off, members of Rab-7 cordoned off the militant den in Sonapahar area early Friday.

Commanding Officer of Feni Rab-7 Shafayat Jamil Fahim confirmed the matter.

A bomb disposal unit has already arrived there, he said.

The militants opened fire and threw bombs at the elite forces, he added.
