RAB raid at Kushtia militant den ends

Kushtia Correspondent: The law enforcers ended operation 'Tepid Punch' at militant hideout in Bamanpara upazila of the district on Saturday night.

In a press conference, Khulna Additional DIG Habibur Rahman officially made the announcement around 9:30pm.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers seized 10 kilogram of powerful explosives, two suicidal vests, a pistol, magazine, and gun powder from the spot.

 

Earlier, on information, a unit of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC), police team from Bheramara police station, Kushtia police station and DB cordoned the suspected militant hideout.

Later, the joint forces started drive and detained two alleged female militants along with two children from the den.

 

Afterward, bomb disposal unit rushed to the spot and launched main operation 'Tepid Punch' at 5:10pm.
