Rail communication with Sylhet resumes

Staff Correspondent: Rail communication between Sylhet and other parts of the country has resumed on Thursday afternoon after a two hours halt.

The communication restored at 5:45pm.

Sylhet Railway Station Manager Abdur Razzak said a rescue train from Kulaura station recovered the derailed wagon. Later, the train service restored.

Earlier, the train communication between Sylhet and rest of the country came to a halt around 4:00pm as a wagon of a train derailed in Majgaon rail station area of Fenchuganj.
