Rail minister at Kamalapur station to enquire about passengers

Staff Correspondent: Railway Minister Mujibul Haque has visited Kamalapur Railway Station to enquire about home-bound passengers on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha.

The minister boarded a Chittagong-bound train at Kamalapur Railway Station on Tuesday afternoon and enquired about many passengers whether they are facing any trouble during trips.

He also asked them whether they have any allegation about the departure period of train and against staff working to ensure smooth journey for them.

Passengers are happy as trains are leaving the station in due time although there are few cases of schedule collapse, he said.

“We have launched special train service this time considering the suffering of passengers. We are trying our level best to ensure smooth journey for them. Law enforcers remain alert for the sake of security,” the minister added.
