Rain likely to continue for next 24 hours

Staff Correspondent: Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest festival of Muslims, is being celebrated across the country. But, heavy rain caused sufferings to Muslim devotees during Eid prayer. 

Light to moderate rain has been forecast in parts of Bangladesh for the upcoming 24 hours, according to the Met office.

“Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Mymensingh,” said the met office bulletin issued here this morning.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
