Rajib’s death: Court order on compensation Tuesday

Staff Correspondent: The High Court will deliver its order on Tuesday on giving compensation to the family of Rajib Hasan, who died after losing his hand in a collision between two buses.

A HC bench of Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice AKM Jahirul Haque fixed the date on Monday.

The right hand of Rajib Hossain, 22, a third-year student of Government Titumir College, was severed when a BRTC double-decker bus and a bus of Swajan Paribahan were trying to overtake each other in the capital's Banglamotor. The severed hand of Rajib was seen hanging from the double-decker.

Rajib died on April 17 while he was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
