Ranbir Kapoor sued for Rs 50 lakh

Entertainment Desk: Ranbir Kapoor, the handsome hunk of Bollywood who mesmerized the audience with his sterling performance in Sanju, has been sued in a court of law for Rs 50 lakhs for dishonouring the rental contract.

Sheetal Suryavanshi, who filed the case against him, has claimed that Ranbir Kapoor was liable to pay Rs 50 lakh plus interest of Rs 1.08 lakh as she suffered due to him.

Reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor has been accused of asking the lady to vacate his Pune apartment before the expiry of the lease agreement and thus causing mental harassment to the concerned person.

However, Ranbir Kapoor has denied all charges and pointed out that the agreement was only for 12 months and not for 24 months, as claimed by the lady.

Ranbir also pointed out that the lady vacated the apartment in 11 months on her own and was never asked to vacate it.
