Razzak’s body at Azad mosque in Gulshan

Staff Correspondent: Body of the legendary actor Razzak, popularly known as Nayak Raj Razzak, has been taken to Gulshan's Azad mosque from Central Shaheed Minar.

The body was taken there around 1:00pm on Tuesday. He will be buried at Banani graveyard after the second namaz-e-janaza in the mosque.

Earlier, the body was taken to the Shaheed Minar premises around 12:23pm where people from all walks of life paid their last respects.

Awami league General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu and secretary of the ministry paid their tributes to the iconic actor.

Besides, a lot of artistes, his co-workers including Renowned film personality Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Alamgir, Suchanda, Babita, Champa, Ferdous and fans from across the country paid their respects.

On Monday evening, Nayak Raj Razzak passed away at the capital's United Hospital following a heart attack.
