Second Janaza held at Azad mosque, Razzak to be buried Wednesday

Staff Correspondent: The second Namaz-e-Janaza of actor Razzak was held at Azad mosque in the capital's Gulshan on Tuesday afternoon.

The legendary actor who was popularly known as Nayak Raj Razzak will be buried around 10:00am on Wednesday.

He will be buried at Banani graveyard. The burial has been delayed as his son Roushon Hossain Bappi has yet not reach Dhaka.

He is expected to arrive here on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, according to family sources.

Earlier, the body was taken to the Shaheed Minar premises around 12:23pm on Tuesday where people from all walks of life paid their last respects.

Awami league General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu and secretary of the ministry paid their tributes to the iconic actor.

Besides, a lot of artistes, his co-workers including Renowned film personality Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Alamgir, Suchanda, Babita, Champa, Ferdous and fans from across the country paid their respects.

On Monday evening, Nayak Raj Razzak passed away at the capital's United Hospital following heart attack.
