Remain alert during Eid vacation, IGP directs cops

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia directed police forces to remain alert during Eid vacation.
The DMP commissioner came up with the direction while addressing Eid reunion programme at DMP headquarters in the capital on Monday.
He said, "We ensured security of general people during Eid prayer. The law and order situation was better due to active role of law enforcers."
"The city dwellers celebrated Eid in a peaceful manner. No major untoward situation was created across the country," he added.
