Ride sharing service policy implementation within 1 month

Staff Correspondent: The 'Ride-Sharing Service Policy' has been approved and the implementation of the policy will be taken place within one month.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader came up with the announcement during a mobile court visit in the capital's Manik Mia avenue on Wednesday.

He said the tendency to use meters in CNG auto-rickshaw will increase following it.

Obaidul Quader also said that following the app-based transport service, passenger harassment and additional fare taking tendency will be reduced.

"A meeting will be taken place on January 31 in this regard. After the meeting, the policy will be implemented within one month," he added.
