Robber killed in Chittagong gunfight

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: An alleged robber was killed in a gunfight between two groups of robbers at Chambal union in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong district on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 48.
Banshkhali police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain said that a gunfight took place between two groups of robbers in Churantomura hill of the area, leaving the robber member dead on the spot.
Later, on information, police recovered the body this morning.
The robber was wanted in 17 cases. Meanwhile, the law enforcers recovered a gun, six rounds of bullets from the spot.
