'Rohingya crisis to be resolved through diplomacy'

Cox's Bazaar Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the Rohingya crisis will be resolved through diplomacy, not by war.

He said, "We have enough defence power. We do not make reply to instigation. We maintain friendly relationship with all. The crisis will be resolved through the success of diplomacy."

The Minister told this to the reporters after a exchange view meeting at Circuit House of Hilltop in Cox's Bazaar on Sunday evening.

"A Myanmar minister is coming to Bangladesh. He will hold talks with our Foreign Minister over Rohingya issue," he added.

Quoting directives of Prime Minister, the Home Boss said, "There is no room for militants in the domain of our country. We will not allow them to use a single inch of our soil for militancy. The government is on strict position in this regard."
