Ronaldo teaches children the way to become 'No 1'

Sports Desk: Cristiano Ronaldo was named FIFA's No 1 player on Monday and the Portuguese superstar has gone about showing his children exactly how he got there.

The Real Madrid star collected the gong at the London Palladium on Monday in a ceremony which bought the world's finest players to the English capital. 

And whilst many would forgive him for taking a few days to enjoy his latest triumph, Ronaldo has got straight back to work.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of himself toning his quadriceps on a leg extension machine as two of his three children watched on in awe.

'Teaching my two children that talent, work and dedication is the only way to become the No 1,' he wrote alongside the picture of himself and sons Cristiano Jr and Mateo.
Ronaldo has one other child named Eva, the twin of Mateo, and is expecting a fourth with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez. 

The Portuguese superstar is unlikely to feature when Real Madrid play second-tier Fuenlabrada in the Copa del Rey on Thursday.

He will no doubt be back in the starting XI when the champions travel to Girona in La Liga on Sunday hoping to close the gap on leaders Barcelona.

While he has 11 goals in 14 games for club and country this term, Ronaldo has scored just once in five La Liga appearances so far this season.
