SA complete 3-0 whitewash Bangladesh

Sports Desk: Bangladesh faced a daunting chase of 370 in the second innings and were bundled out for 169, giving South Africa a 3-0 series whitewash.

Earlier, the hosts batted brilliantly to end the first innings at 369-6.

Quinton de Kock scored a half century and was well supported by opening partner Temba Bavuma, who himself fell two runs short of getting his maiden ODI half century. Both were dismissed by Mehidy Hasan.

However, that was the only major highlight for Bangladesh as skipper Faf du Plessis and Aiden Markram are put on a solid partnership that surpassed the 100-run mark before the skipper had to retire with cramps.

South Africa did well enough to get a target that proved impossible to chase.
