SSC exams: ACC sends letter for stopping overcharge

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday forwarded a letter to the cabinet division for their intervention on stopping schools from overcharging for SSC forms fill-up.

The commission sent the letter signed by its acting secretary Sarwar Mahmud today following receipt of many allegations of charging extra money from the students for SSC forms fill-up.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter of sending the letter.

In the letter, the commission also said that they have found some of the allegations true after conducting raids at some schools following the allegations over its hotline 106.

The commission demanded necessary measures from all concerned ministries, directorates, offices and field-level administration to put an end to the irregularities.
