Staff Correspondent: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Mohammad Javed Patwari has said the sacrificial animals will not be allowed outside of specific cattle markets.
The IGP made the assertion while addressing a press conference at police headquarters in the capital on Monday.
He said that police forces are alert to ensure security on highways so that extortion cannot take place in sacrificial animals-laden trucks.
IGP said, "The law enforcers are also alert so that fitness less vehicles cannot ply on roads. Vehicles including Nasiman and Kariman are banned on highway."
