Sakku takes oath as CCC mayor

Staff Correspondent: Monirul Haque Sakku has taken oath as the mayor of Comilla City Corporation (CCC).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina administered the oath at a function held at Gonobhaban on Thursday.

Elected general councilors and women councilors of reserved seats will also take oath today.

Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain will administer the oath to all elected councilors.

Cabinet members, PM's advisors and leaders of different political parties and senior officials were present at the oath taking ceremony.
