Staff Correspondent: Salman Fazlur Rahman has been appointed as the private industry and investment adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
A circular signed by Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam has been issued in this regard on Tuesday.
The prime minister appointed Salman Fazlur Rahman as her adviser under the 3 (B)(1) of the Rules of Business, 1996, the circular reads.
“This recruitment is honorary. He will have the portfolio of a minister,” according to the circular.
Salman was elected from Dhaka-1 constituency as a lawmaker with Awami League ticket in the 11th parliamentary elections held on December 30, 2018.
