Salman hits new record

Entertainment Desk: Tiger Zinda Hai is Salman Khan’s All Time Highest Grosser. Tiger Zinda Hai has finally beaten the lifetime collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 22 days at the box office.

Tiger Zinda Hai has become Salman Khan’s Highest Grosser in 22 days by beating the nett numbers of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The gross numbers might take couple of more weeks at the box office. Business is primarily reported in nett numbers so we are considering the nett numbers of both the films.

Tiger Zinda Hai will eventually lead Bajrangi Bhaijaan by some more margin by the end of its run. Going by the current trend, it should close in on 335 crore mark by the end of its lifetime run at the box office.

Salman Khan is the also the only Bollywood actor with three 300 crore films. He has delivered it in consecutive years – 2015, 2016 and 2017. If we consider the inflation adjusted numbers of all time, then this might be Salman Khan’s third highest domestic grosser after Hum Aapke Hai Koun and Maine Pyaar Kiya.

Purely by the numbers perspective, Tiger Zinda Hai sits on top of Salman Khan’s Highest Grossers. In terms of footfalls, it should be somewhere between Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan though final numbers may vary. Hum Aapke Hai Koun and Maine Pyaar Kiya both have more than 4 crore footfalls at the box office.
