‘Saudi tour will help boost ties between 2 countries’

Risingbd Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the visit to Saudi Arabia will play a far-reaching role in boosting ties between the two countries.

The premier expressed the hope while addressing a press conference held at her official residence Gonobhaban in Dhaka at 4:00pm on Monday.

The press conference was organized to brief the outcomes of her recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

Sheikh Hasina said, “We invited the Saudi king to visit Bangladesh. He accepted the invitation and expressed his hope that he will make the trip to Bangladesh soon.”

During the press briefing, the prime minister cited that she had separate meetings with the Saudi King, and Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in Riyadh.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for Saudi Arabia on October 16 for a four-day trip at the invitation of King Salman and returned home early Saturday (October 20) wrapping up her four-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
