Schedule announced for one-sided polls, says Fakhrul

Senior Correspondent: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the Election Commission (EC) has announced schedule for holding a one-sided polls in the country.

He said, “The schedule unilaterally announced by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) on Thursday evening, cannot reflect people’s hopes. It is obviously for holding a one-sided polls again and contrary to arrange a fair election.”

The BNP stalwart told this to the reporters at the party chairperson’s Gulshan political office on Thursday night.
