Schoolgirl hacked dead in Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: Locals gave a young man good thrashing after he allegedly hacked a schoolgirl to death in Sayedabad area of the capital city on Tuesday afternoon.
The youth Sohel Rana was handed over to police.
Police then took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Sub-inspector (SI) Bachchu Mia, in- charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, said, “Sohel was arrested as he fell sick after a good beating. Nothing could be said at this moment.”
The incident happened beside Gopibagh rail line around 3:30pm.
Police said Sohel stalked 15-year-old Sharmin for long.
On Tuesday, he stabbed her with a chopper while the girl left her residence for somewhere. She died on the spot.
