Staff Correspondent: Seaports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No three as deep convection is taking place over North Bay.
The weather bulletin on Tuesday also said river ports in several districts across the country have been asked to hoist ‘riverine warning signal no. 2’.
Gusty wind may blow through places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet with the speed of 45-80 km per hours and above.
Meteorologist M. Shahinul Islam said that due to heavy to very heavy rainfall, landslide may occur at places in the hilly regions of Chittagong and Sylhet Divisions.
