Section 144 imposed in Madhabdi

Narsingdi Correspondent: Local administration imposed section 144 at Madhabdi upazila of the district banning all types of public gatherings in the area.

The law enforcers cordoned off another house suspecting militant den after recovering two bodies from a hideout in Bhagirothpur area of Sheikher Char of the district.

Preparation is being taken to conduct a drive in the seven storied building of Afzal Hossain.

Police sources said that the law enforcers are kept in alert position after imposing section 144 in the area. People in the area are asked to keep shut their doors and windows closed.

Earlier on Tuesday, bodies of two suspected militants were recovered from the hideout on the fourth floor of a five-storey building following the operation code-named ‘Gordian Knot’.
