Section 144 notices imposed in Moulvibazar

Moulvibazar Correspondent: Section 144 has been imposed at Barohat and Fatehpur area in Moulvibazar municipality as Police's Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit cordoned off two separate houses there suspecting militant den.

The ban on any meeting and procession was declared around 3:00pm on Wednesday.

Moulvibazar deputy commissioner Tofayel Islam said that the restriction will be continued there until further notice issued.

The administration imposed the section 144 for the security of local people there, he added.
