Seminar on ‘Tennessee and Nathaniel’ held at IU

H K Jibon from IU: A PhD seminar on ‘the comparative study between Tennessee Williams and Nathaniel Hawthorne’ was held at Islamic University (IU) Kushtia on Wednesday.

IU English department organised the seminar at the conference room of the university’s faculty building around 11:00am.

IU humanities and social science faculty dean Professor Habibur Rahman was present at the seminar as chief discussant while Professors of English department M Mamunur Rahman and Miah M Rashiduzzaman were present as special discussants with the departmental chairman Professor AHM Aktarul Islam Zillu in the chair.

Assistant professor of the department Prodip Kumar Adhikari conducted the seminar while U H Ruhina Jesmin, assistant professor of English department of Khulna University presented the two articles supervised by Salma Sultana, Professor of IU English department.

Among others, IUTA secretary Professor M Anowar Hossen, IU hall provost council president Professor M Mizanur Rahman, Professor Tapon Kuamr Joardar of information and communication engineering department and Shahadat Hossain Azad of English department of the university.
