Shahriar Nafis hits 14th century

Sports Correspondent: Shahriar Nafis smashed14th century of his first-class cricket career against Rajshahi Division on Thursday.

This is the maiden century for Shahriar Nafis in the Walton 20th National Cricket League (NCL).

On Thursday, Shahriar hit an innings of 102 runs off 161 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes. He needed 220 minutes to hit the century.

He was unbeaten while Barisal Division was at 174 runs for wickets till the report was filed at 2:30pm.

With the innings, Shahriar reached 7,425 runs in his 76 matches first-class career. His average is 40.01.

He also hit 43 fifties in the first-class cricket while his best is 219 runs.

Meanwhile, Razin Saleh missed a century just for 4 runs against Dhaka Division.

For Sylhet Division, Razin hit 96 runs off 243 balls which includes 9 fours and 3 sixes. He missed the century as he failed to play Taibur Rahman.
