Shajahan tells workers to resume transports

Staff Correspondent: Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan has told leaders of transport workers and owners to resume transports across the country.

The minister came up with the call after a meeting with bus owners and transport workers leaders held at Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) bhaban in city's Motijheel on Wednesday noon.

He also hoped that the movements of transport will be normal across the country.

State Minister for Rural Development & Co-operatives Division Moshiur Rahman Ranga and National Road Transport Owners Association of Bangladesh Khandaker Enayet Ullah were present in the meeting.

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan is the executive president of Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Association while Mashiur Rahman Ranga is the president of Bus Owners’ Association.
