Show cause against 9 lawyers

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Bar council on Wednesday issued show cause notices against nine lawyers over the incident of vandalism at courtroom in Chittagong.

 The lawyers are Advocate Zannatul Ferdous Mukta, Chandan Biswas, Shakil Ahmed, Abdul Awal, SI Khan, Prodeep Das, Shibli, Masud Parvez and Muktadir Hossain.

They were asked to reply to the notices within next seven days, according to the notices signed by Bar Council official Afzalur Rahman.

The incident happened recently in the Chittagong courtroom centering the rejection of a bail plea sought by an accused.
