Court Correspondent: The High Court has directed the government to immediately shut down the tanneries operating at Hazaribagh in the capital Dhaka.
A bench of Justice Syed Rifat Ahmed and Justice Mohammad Selim passed the order on Monday.
Director General of Environment Department and Home Secretary have been asked to implement the order.
