Singapore-return 2 JMB men put on remand

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court on Monday placed two Singapore-returnees on a 5-day remand for their involvement in militant activities.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Golam Nabi passed the order after hearing.

The detainees are- Dawlatuzzaman alias Moyaz Al Bangali and Sohel Howlader alias Belal Hafsi Al Bangali.

Investigation Officer (IO) Sub-Inspector AKM Ziaur Rahman of Sabujbagh police station produced them before the court seeking 10 days remand.

Earlier, on Saturday night, a team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-3 detained the two returnees who were arrested and spent time in jail in Singapore for their involvement in militant activities.
