Speaker leaves Dhaka for Singapore

Staff Correspondent: Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, MP, left Dhaka for Singapore on a six-day official visit.

A parliament secretariat press release confirmed the matter on Sunday.

Senior Secretary to the Parliament Secretariat Dr M Abdur Rab Hawladar and other high officials were present at the airport to see the speaker off. 

During the visit, she will attend various programmes hosted by Singapore Parliament. Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury is scheduled to return home on December 1.
