Speaker mourns death of Sudhin Das

Parliament Correspondent: Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Wednesday expressed deep shock at the death of noted Nazrul researcher and popular musician Sudhin Das.

In a condolence message, Dr Sharmin said Sudhin Das was a bright star in the field of music. "His death is an irreparable loss to this field," She said.

Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.

Prominent Nazrul exponent Sudhin Das passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday night. He was 87.
