State minister, secretaries fined for wrong-side driving

Staff Correspondent: Traffic Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed case against 57 cars including of State Minister, Lawmaker and Secretaries for driving on the wrong lane in Dhaka.

They were also fined during the drive at Hare Road in front of the state guest house Sugandha on Sunday afternoon.

The drive was operated with the initiative of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud.

State Minister for Social Welfare Nuruzzaman Ahmed and Narsingdi-2 Lawmaker Kamrul Ashraf Khan among others including journalists and secretaries were fined.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the news to risingbd.
