'Stern action if anyone tries to commit sabotage'

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said stern actions will be taken if anyone tries to commit acts of sabotage centering 21 August case verdict.

The minister made the assertion while addressing reporters at a development fair in capital's Sher-e-bangla nagar on Thursday.

"The 21 August verdict will be announced maintaining country's traditional judiciary system properly. The court fixed the date of verdict in the case," he said.

He also said, "The real culprits will be punished through the verdict. However, a vested quarter may try to cause sabotage centering the verdict. That’s why law enforcers were directed to stay alert. Strict actions will be taken if anyone tries to commit acts of sabotage centering the verdict."
