Students demand for evaluation under 'B' set question paper

Staff Correspondent: The examinations of Higher Mathematics of Science Division and Science of Business Studies Division of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) were held under 'A' set question paper across the country. But, students of the capital's Haidar Ali School and College centre were provided 'B' set, for the examinations violating directives of the board concerned.

So, 254 students of the centre and their gurdians demanded to evaluate their answer sheets under 'B' set question paper.

Students and guardians came up with the demand from a human chain formed in front of the National Press Club on Friday.

They said, "Students of the centre and their guardians are concerned as the board will supply 'A' set question papers for the two subjects according to its directives. If so, all the students of the centre will fail in both subjects."

"No question of 'A' set was found similar to 'B' set. So, students will fail in both subjects if their answer sheets are evaluated under 'A' set. So, We demanded to evaluate their answer sheets under 'B' set," the students said.

The students and their guardians also demanded for punishment of them who were involved behind the incident.
