Secretariat Correspondent: Subjects and number are being alleviated in Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) to reduce pressure on students, according to the Education Ministry.
Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary M Sohrab Hossain told this to the reporters after a meeting of National Curriculum Coordination Committee (NCCC) held at the ministry’s conference room on Sunday.
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will also remain in JSC and JDC examinations, he added.
He said, “We have taken initiatives to reduce pressure on children. Firstly, we are thinking of alleviating some subjects. It will be implanted from this year if it is approved.”
