Sumaiya taken to DMCH for medical checkup

Staff Correspondent: Five-year-old Sumaiya, who was rescued 24 days after she was kidnapped, has been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for medical checkup on Saturday.

The kid was admitted at the hospital around 3:00pm.

Sub-inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

Bacchu Mia said that Sumaiya was vomiting since last night. That’s why her mother admitted her to the hospital today. She is taking treatment at a one-stop crisis centre (OSCC) in the hospital.

Sumaiya had been missing since April 3. Later, Father of the girl Zakir Hossain, who works for a steel manufacturing company, filed a kidnapping case with Kamrangichar police station on April 24.
