Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has placed owner of Suprovat Paribahan Noni Gopal on a three-day remand in a case filed for killing Abrar Ahmed Chowdhury, student of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Baki Billah passed the order on Friday.
A team of Detective Branch (DB) arrested him from his Mugda residence on Thursday night.
Abrar, son of Brig Gen (retd) Arif Ahmed Chowdhury, died after being run over by a ‘Suprovat Paribahan’ bus in front of the Bashundhara gate on March 19.
