Sushma Swaraj in Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj arrived in Dhaka on Sunday on a two-day official visit.

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali received her at Bangabandhu Air Base as her special flight landed at around 2:00pm.

Bangladesh and India will hold the next Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting around 5:30pm at State Guest House Padma to review the entire bilateral relations and take forward the decisions taken so far.

She will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina this evening at Ganabhaban.

This is the second visit of Sushma toBangladeshat the invitation of Mahmood Ali and comes soon after the state visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh toIndiain April 2017.
