DHAKA, Aug 5: Bangladesh Tarikat Federation, on Sunday called on the Awami League led government to impose ban on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami immediately on charges of its involvements with the war crimes and crimes against humanities  during the war of independence of 1971.
Nazibul Boshar Maizbhandari, the chairman of the party at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity expressed satisfaction for banning the Election Commission registration of Jamaat, as a political party by a High Court verdict on Thursday.
Jamaat had no right to take part in the politics of the country, as it is a religion based communal organisation, the government could ban the Jamaat with an executive order, Nazibul said.

The people would face troubles to return in Dhaka City after the Eid to join their workplaces, Awal said.
